Your Mission: Build and Maintain a World-Class IT Infrastructure

As a Workplace Technology Engineer II, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our IT infrastructure is optimal, resilient, and scalable. You’ll be the person who makes sure our team has the tools they need to succeed, focusing on everything from end-user systems to cloud services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining IT infrastructure that supports our company’s vision and objectives.
• Documenting IT systems, infrastructure standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Managing Microsoft Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Ensuring compliance across our software stack, from the operating system to third-party applications.
• Troubleshooting and providing advanced support for systems like SCCM and Microsoft Intune.
• Working with cloud service providers such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate with a strong operational understanding of a wide range of IT systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and various scripting tools. A relevant degree in Information Technology is ideal, but a Grade 12 National Certificate is the minimum requirement.

You’ll need knowledge and experience in:

• Microsoft: Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365 Services, and System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM).
• Scripting: PowerShell, Python, or VBScript.
• Cloud & Virtualization: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and Virtual Desktop Technologies (VDI, Citrix).
• Networking: DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and Routing.
