What You’ll Do
This is a key role where you will be at the forefront of patient care. We are seeking an individual who is ready to provide direct and indirect nursing care that is not only safe and high-quality but also promotes cost-effective, positive outcomes for our patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing Dialysis: Safely administer dialysis treatments according to prescription and our internal policies.
- Providing Patient Care: Deliver optimal care that aligns with your nursing scope of practice and our clinical care pathways.
- Managing Equipment: Maintain and manage all medical equipment following our technical policies.
- Ensuring Quality: Utilize our quality initiative programs to deliver the best care possible to the patients under your management.
- Leading Your Shift: Take charge of your shift and supervise other subcategories on the floor, showcasing your leadership skills.
- Maintaining Records: Ensure all patient clinical records are updated and maintained according to deadlines and standards.
- Upholding Our Values: Demonstrate our core values of compassion and excellence in everything you do.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is an individual who can thrive under pressure and adapt to a constantly changing environment. You must have a relevant qualification (NQF 7 or equivalent) and be registered with either the South African Nursing Council or the HPCSA. Experience in renal nursing is highly recommended, as is the capacity to uphold and maintain health practice standards.
