The Role: Waiter – Vista

The Waiter is a frontline ambassador of the One&Only brand, responsible for delivering exceptional, anticipatory service to guests within their designated section. This role requires the ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and maintain composure under pressure while executing all duties of a Busser and Food Runner.

Core Responsibilities

Elevated Guest Service

• Primary Focus: Manage all tables within the assigned section, ensuring the delivery of the highest possible service standards.
• Menu Mastery: Attain and maintain full knowledge of the food menu, including the Nobu concept, and the comprehensive bar and sake bar product offerings.
• Order Management: Take guest orders accurately, communicate them precisely to the relevant preparation sections, and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
• Reading the Guest: Demonstrate exceptional awareness by reading tables, anticipating guest needs, understanding preferences and dislikes, and adjusting service timing accordingly.

Operational Excellence

• Service Execution: Confidently and comfortably carry trays and plates, demonstrating proficiency in all service standards.
• Prioritization: Effectively manage multiple tasks and competing priorities to ensure seamless table service, paying close attention to dish timing and table turnover.
• Team Support & Maintenance: Proactively check and clear stations, pick up drinks from the bar, collect dishes from the kitchen/sushi bar, and assist colleagues to ensure the entire floor runs smoothly.
• Conduct & Compliance: Maintain effective and respectful communication with all guests and staff. Adhere to all internal procedures, including reporting minors ordering or consuming alcoholic beverages.

Candidate Profile

• Desired: Previous experience in a high-end or luxury hospitality environment is highly advantageous.
