We’re looking for a dedicated Training Officer to join our team at Stefanutti Stocks Corporate Services. What You’ll Be Doing

As our Training Officer, you’ll be at the forefront of learning and development. Your primary focus will be on specializing in the operation of surface mobile machinery, but you’ll also be involved in a variety of training initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Content Creation: Developing and updating learning materials and training methods.
• Training & Assessment: Presenting skills programs for mobile machinery and wet trades, and then evaluating and assessing learners to ensure they meet our high standards.
• On-the-Job Coaching: Conducting hands-on, on-the-job training to reinforce skills.
• Safety First: Ensuring all training adheres to our SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) standards and the requirements of the Health and Safety Act.
• Strategic Impact: Implementing and achieving our strategic training objectives while producing and maintaining effective training results.

Who We’re Looking For

We need a dynamic individual who is not only an expert in their field but also a great communicator and mentor. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others grow.

Key Requirements:

• CETA Registration: You must be a CETA-registered Facilitator, Assessor, and Moderator with a scope that includes Construction Plant Operations and GETC: Construction.
• ETDP Qualifications: You must have a Statement of Results for 115753: Conduct outcome-based assessments and 115759: Conduct moderation of outcome-based assessments.
• Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in both operating mobile construction plant operations and in the mining, building, and construction training disciplines.
• Education: A Matric/Grade 12 certificate (an OD ETDP qualification is a plus).
• Skills: Strong computer literacy, excellent verbal and written English communication skills, and knowledge of all relevant statutory legislation.
• Logistics: A valid Code 10 C1 driver’s license and the willingness to travel as required.
