Kärcher (Pty) Ltd is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Boksburg. This is a full-time, permanent position that will require nationwide travel. If you have a passion for sales and a talent for building lasting client relationships, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be a key driver of Kärcher’s growth in the industrial sector. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing sales strategies to expand our professional product presence across South Africa. This role is a perfect fit for a self-starter who thrives on identifying new business opportunities and providing expert cleaning solutions to industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales targets for the Direct Professional channel.
  • Conduct a minimum of 25 face-to-face customer visits and at least 3 on-site product demonstrations per week.
  • Submit a minimum of 10 quotes weekly and maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in our CRM system (OneView).
  • Handle the delivery, commissioning, and training for all sold machines, ensuring all handover documentation is completed.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with industrial clients.

Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in field sales.
  • Education: Matric is essential; a Sales Diploma or Degree is a significant advantage.
  • Skills: Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels. Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills are a must.
  • Other: A valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a company vehicle in roadworthy condition.
