The Heart of the Role: Bridging Systems and People

In a company that manages over 5,000 employees and hundreds of sites, smooth system functionality is crucial. Your primary responsibility will be to provide effective and efficient systems support and training to users, operations, and leadership, ensuring seamless processing across all platforms.

Key Focus Areas: Support, Administration, and Training

You will be the vital link between our technology and the teams who rely on it every day, managing a diverse set of duties across technical support, system administration, and training delivery.

1. Technical Support & System Enhancement

  • Frontline Troubleshooting: Providing immediate technical support for software applications, diagnosing and fixing bugs, and troubleshooting user challenges.
  • Quality Assurance: Testing new software versions and upgrades in collaboration with developers to ensure a flawless user experience.
  • Collaboration: Participating in meetings with users and developers to resolve complex issues and identify effective system solutions.

2. System Administration & Maintenance

  • Procurement System Mastery: Providing specialized support for our procurement system, including loading users and units, managing access and password resets, and addressing general queries (e.g., checking invoices and credit notes).
  • Maintenance: Providing end-to-end maintenance for a variety of systems across various departments.
  • Data Integrity: Developing data export templates and collaborating with Finance and Procurement to manage system-related queries efficiently.

3. Training & Facilitation

  • Content Creation: Creating comprehensive training manuals for various systems tailored to users, support leaders, and operations staff.
  • Training Delivery: Providing engaging and practical training sessions to empower all staff on how to use software applications effectively.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Responding to user inquiries in a timely, professional manner and building positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

What We Need From You

We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: A Higher Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field such as Data Analysis or Information Technology.
  • Systems Experience: More than 3 years’ experience providing support and administration across various business systems (e.g., procurement).
  • Training Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in writing user manuals and training users and heads of departments on multiple systems.
  • Volume Management: Proven experience working with high-volume users and a high pace of change.
  • Communication: Experience with liaising directly with developers for system enhancements.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office and experience in a multi-skill, fast-paced changing environment is essential.
