About the Role
FNB is seeking a Systems Analyst to interpret business requirements and translate them into detailed system design specifications. This role focuses on developing innovative, flexible, and efficient solutions to business challenges while delivering excellence in customer experience and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse system technical requirements and conduct risk assessments.
• Translate business requirement specifications into system design specifications.
• Define, develop, and document how business systems interface functionally.
• Identify system, process, and efficiency improvements, including innovations.
• Build collaborative relationships across teams to enhance delivery and innovation.
• Control expenditure and identify opportunities to reduce costs.
• Participate in development activities to continuously improve operational processes.
• Compile reports that track progress and guide informed business decisions.
• Manage risks within area of responsibility and ensure adherence to quality service standards.
• Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through solutions that meet customer demands.

Requirements

• BCom, B.Eng., BSc Eng., BSc Informatics, or related degree.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in system analysis.
• Experience with API design and database design.
• Ability to write clear technical requirements.
• Experience engaging with third parties, creating specifications, logging projects, and managing work requests.
• Advanced knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Programming experience is advantageous.
