What Does a Systems Analyst Do at FNB?

At FNB, you’ll be the crucial link between business requirements and cutting-edge technical solutions. You’ll dive deep into business needs, translating them into detailed system designs that enable the development of flexible, efficient, and innovative solutions. Whether it’s enhancing existing systems or building brand-new solutions from the ground up, your expertise will drive effective change.

In this role, you will:

• Interpret and Translate: Convert complex business requirement specifications into clear, detailed system design specifications.
• Design and Innovate: Be responsible for designing databases, API contracts, API logic, and even front-end user journeys (with UX screens provided).
• Document Meticulously: Produce logical, technical, functional, and non-functional specifications.
• Analyze and Optimize: Conduct feasibility studies and impact analyses, evaluating viability, identifying risks, and recommending improvements.
• Collaborate and Build: Forge strong working relationships across teams to enhance delivery, collaboration, and innovation.

Are You the #Changeable We’re Looking For?

We’re searching for someone with a BCom, B.Eng., BSc Eng., BSc Informatics, or a related degree. Your experience should include API design and Database design, along with the ability to craft detailed technical requirements that bring system visions to life. Familiarity with Actimize SAM, WLF, RCM/ActOne, and tools like RCM Designer and Visual Modeler would be a significant advantage. Experience with data analysis using SQL/Oracle queries is also key.
