Job Opportunity: Strategic Sales and Marketing Director at Dream Hotels & Resorts
Dream Hotels & Resorts is searching for a visionary Strategic Sales and Marketing Director to join our team. Guided by our core values of reliability, empathy, sustainability, and excellence, we are looking for a leader who can drive revenue growth and strengthen our brand’s position in the hospitality market. This is a permanent position based in Bryanston, Johannesburg, for a professional with a proven track record of success.
Role Overview
As the Strategic Sales and Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated sales, marketing, and brand strategies across our entire hospitality portfolio. You will lead and align cross-functional teams in sales, marketing, digital, and revenue management to meet performance targets, enhance customer engagement, and build long-term business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop a comprehensive strategy to drive revenue and market share, identifying new growth channels and business partnerships.
- Sales Leadership: Oversee strategic sales plans for all market segments (corporate, leisure, MICE, etc.) and lead regional sales teams to ensure performance metrics are met.
- Marketing & Brand Strategy: Lead brand strategy and marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social, CRM, PR) to elevate brand awareness and customer loyalty.
- Digital & Revenue Optimization: Collaborate with Revenue Management and E-commerce teams to optimize pricing, inventory, and online sales performance, leveraging data analytics to drive customer retention.
- Product Optimization: Ensure our product offerings, guest experiences, and target markets are perfectly aligned.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments, including Operations, Finance, and HR, to ensure business goals are met and to contribute a commercial perspective to new property openings or refurbishments.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality Management is required. An MBA is preferred.
- Experience: You should have 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in sales, marketing, or other commercial functions within the hospitality industry.
- Track Record: A proven history of delivering revenue growth, market expansion, and brand success is essential for this role.
