What You’ll Be Doing

As a Stores Clerk, you’ll be the backbone of our inventory operations. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Stock Management: You’ll handle the receiving, storing, and issuing of all stock, ensuring that every item is accounted for and handled according to our strict procedures.
• Accurate Record-Keeping: You’ll maintain precise records of all physical stock received on our inventory management system.
• Inventory Control: You’ll help enforce our systematic procedures, ensuring minimum and maximum stock thresholds are always maintained and assisting with month-end and year-end stock takes.
• Operational Excellence: You’ll maintain a neat and orderly store, enforce safety procedures, and ensure good housekeeping standards are upheld at all times.

Are You the Perfect Fit?

We’re looking for a proactive individual who can work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have:

• A Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• A valid forklift license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or stock control environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Accpac.
• Strong administrative and communication skills.
• The ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
