Overview
Power Fashion is seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our team at the Soweto Meadowpoint location in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
The Store Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day management and operation of the store, focusing on maximizing sales turnover, controlling expenses, and ensuring high standards of customer service, operational compliance, and loss prevention.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The Store Manager will be held accountable for performance across four core areas: Sales & Profitability, Stock & Operations, Leadership, and Compliance.
A. Sales and Profitability Management

Target Achievement: Achieve and/or exceed all required sales and key performance indicator (KPI) targets set for the store.

Sales Promotion: Actively promote sales growth strategies and initiatives.

Expense Control: Manage store resources and control operational expenses effectively to meet business profitability targets.
B. Stock Management and Operations

Loss Prevention: Ensure the stock loss benchmark is strictly maintained through effective controls and procedures.

Inventory Knowledge: Encompass a thorough knowledge of stock, inventory management, and associated policies and procedures.

Productivity: Utilize store resources efficiently to maximize overall store productivity and operational effectiveness.

Store Standards: Monitor and ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the store and staff areas adhere to all relevant company and legal standards.
C. Leadership and Team Management

Staff Accountability: Assume full accountability for the management, training, and development of all store staff.

Culture: Maintain the company culture by consistently treating staff in a respectful and professional manner, fostering a positive work environment.
D. Compliance and Customer Service

Policy Custodian: Act as the custodian of all company policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring meticulous adherence across all store functions.

Customer Experience: Ensure all interactions with customers consistently result in an above-average customer service level.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
| Category | Requirement |
| Education | Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Mathematics is considered an advantage). |
| Experience | Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Retail Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager role, preferably within a similar retail environment. |
| Communication | Excellent business English, both verbal and written, essential for staff training, customer interaction, and administrative duties. |
