About the Role

Totalsports is looking for a dedicated Store Manager to lead the Ermelo store team. This role is ideal for a results-driven retail professional with a passion for sports and fitness. You will be responsible for setting sales targets, driving performance, and creating a positive and high-performing store environment.

As Store Manager, you will oversee operations, manage inventory, control expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies while motivating and developing your team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive store performance through KPIs such as turnover, rewards, new accounts, and visual merchandising.
• Manage stock losses and ensure shrinkage is within company standards.
• Implement merchandising strategies and standards across the store.
• Lead, train, and develop the store team; manage recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
• Control expenses and manage the store budget effectively.
• Schedule staff efficiently and allocate time to priorities.
• Maintain a customer-centric mindset and ensure operational excellence.
• Mitigate risk and ensure store compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification; relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
• At least 3 years’ experience in store management.
• Proven track record in driving sales to increase store profitability.
