Main Purpose of the Job
To ensure accurate valuation and control of hospital stock, maintaining efficient stock management and supporting pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the stock master data
• Coordinate and manage stock holding processes across the hospital
• Monitor and maintain accuracy within the pharmacy stock system

Education Requirements
Essential: Grade 12 with Mathematics
Desired: None

Experience Requirements
Essential: Experience working in a private hospital pharmacy
Desired: 3 years’ stock control experience in a hospital pharmacy or theatre, or Unit Administration Assistant (UAA) experience

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency in AS400 systems (pharmacy modules such as ordering, distribution, and stock holding)
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products
• Understanding of pharmacy policies and procedures
• Knowledge of the Charging Policy for Pharmaceuticals (CPP)
• Solid business process understanding
• Competence in stock system management
• Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office
