Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for upholding financial integrity? We’re looking for a dedicated Specialist: Tax Avoidance and Reportable Arrangements (Pillar Two) to join our team in Woodmead. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a special team that helps protect our economy and ensure voluntary compliance.


What We’re Looking For

We need a proactive and highly skilled professional who can detect and identify tax avoidance schemes and legislative loopholes. The ideal candidate will be an expert in financial analysis, with a deep understanding of taxation and international tax principles.

To be a good fit, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Taxation, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Taxation, Accounting, Auditing, or International Tax, with 3-4 years at a junior specialist level.
  • Alternatively, a Senior Certificate (NQF 4) with 15 years of experience in the same fields.
  • A strong commitment to integrity and an understanding of its importance in our work.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Specialist, you will be on the front lines, reviewing and analyzing information provided by multinational enterprises on GloBE Pillar Two. Your main purpose is to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with relevant acts.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • In-depth Analysis: Scrutinize financial journals, press reports, and SENS announcements to detect tax avoidance schemes.
  • Risk Identification: Review the GloBE Information Tax Return (GIR) for possible revenue leakages and tax avoidance opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Plan and implement initiatives to improve operational processes and systems.
  • Expertise & Advice: Provide authoritative, specialist advice to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve queries, and apply discretion to solve emerging problems.
