What You’ll Do

In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring our digital landscape is secure and our risk culture is robust. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing independent oversight and advice on information and technology-related risks.
• Challenging and improving first-line management’s risk management practices.
• Identifying, evaluating, and assessing potential risks to our systems and data.
• Improving risk awareness and promoting a strong risk culture throughout the organization.

What We’re Looking For

We need a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of risk management and information technology.

Experience & Skills:

• Risk Management: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Risk Management and/or Internal/External Auditing.
• Governance & Oversight: Proven experience in a governance and oversight capacity, such as IT Governance, IT Audit, or Information Security.
• Cybersecurity: A strong understanding of Cyber and IT Security best practices and principles.
• Risk Methodologies: Experience with relevant risk methodologies and control frameworks like COBIT, ISO, NIST, and ITIL.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

• Minimum: A Bachelor’s Degree in Risk and Compliance or Commerce.
• Ideal: An Honours Degree in Risk and Compliance or Commerce.
