Your Mission: Build, Lead, and Innovate

As a Software Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a team of talented software engineers. Your mission is to design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions that provide a superior gaming experience for our customers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead and Mentor: Build and lead a diverse team of software engineers, fostering a high-performance culture centered on innovation and continuous improvement.
• Build & Maintain: Drive the development and maintenance of software according to company standards and industry best practices.
• Strategic Planning: Engage with stakeholders on requirements and performance, and lead strategic planning for team efficiency and growth.
• Own the Process: Take full ownership of the engineering and delivery process, focusing on the integrity, quality, and scalability of our systems.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential technical risks, proactively addressing challenges as they arise to ensure project timelines are met.

The Skills and Experience We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has a Computer Science related degree or diploma and a minimum of 7 years of practical experience in the full software development life cycle. We need a leader with at least 2 years of management experience and 2 years in a Senior Software Engineer role.

You should have:

• A solid understanding of Software Engineering principles and design patterns.
• Proven experience managing teams using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• A consistent passion for technology and keeping up with industry trends.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

It would be a great bonus if you have a strong understanding of domain- and event-driven software architecture, experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
