What You’ll Be Doing

As a Shop Assistant, you’ll be on the front line, delivering awesome customer service and driving sales. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering a WOW Experience: You’ll attend to the unique needs of each customer, providing prompt and relevant service both on the sales floor and by telephone.
• Maximizing Sales: You’ll use your excellent selling and communication skills to advise customers on our product range and warranties. You’ll also focus on add-on sales to maximize revenue.
• Merchandising & Promotions: You’ll ensure goods are correctly priced and displayed, and that all sales promotions are executed timeously and according to our standards.
• Stock & Loss Control: You’ll participate in stock takes and counts, and you’ll work to minimize stock loss and expenses in your area of responsibility.
• Reporting: You’ll report on fast and slow sellers to the Store Manager, providing valuable insights to help shape our sales strategies.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

The ideal candidate is a tenacious, highly motivated, and customer-focused individual with a passion for retail.

• Experience: A minimum of six months of retail experience is required.
• Education: A Matric Certificate is a must.
• Skills: You should be highly motivated, target-driven, and have excellent selling and communication skills. Merchandising skills are also essential. You must have your own or reliable transport to be able to work shifts.
