A Service Advisor plays a crucial role in an auto service company by acting as the primary point of contact between customers and the technical team. They need a combination of technical knowledge, customer service skills, and organizational abilities. Here are the typical qualifications and qualities required for a Service Advisor:

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum Educational Requirement: Bachelor of Auto Mechanical Engineering,
• Advanced Diploma in Auto Mobile Engineering or FTC in Mechanics.
• Experience in Automotive Service or Customer Service: Prior experience is preferred; familiarity with auto repair processes is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Automotive Systems: Understanding of vehicle components, repair processes, and terminology helps in explaining repairs to customers.

Technical Skills:

• Basic Automotive Knowledge: Ability to understand repair estimates, diagnostic reports, and communicate effectively with technicians.
• Familiarity with Service Management Software is advantageous.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computers and office software (e.g., MS Office).
