News24 is searching for a highly experienced and multi-skilled Senior Product Manager to join our fast-paced newsroom. This is a strategic, hands-on role where you’ll use your expertise to bridge the gap between our newsroom and a team of talented engineers, data scientists, and UX/UI specialists.

We’re looking for someone who can lead the charge in developing innovative solutions and ensure News24 remains at the forefront of the news landscape.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Product Manager at News24, you’ll be the strategic lead for all our digital products. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Product Strategy: Drive innovative concepts to enhance existing products and create new ones, always with a focus on improving the user experience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with both editorial and technical teams to define and prioritize product requirements.
• Leadership: Act as a senior advisor and operational champion for the newsroom, managing the full product lifecycle from rollout to optimization.
• Industry Insight: Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to keep News24 ahead of the curve.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Use data and analytics to inform your decisions, ensuring that every product enhancement delivers significant business value.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a candidate with at least seven years of product management experience, including a minimum of five years in a digital or mobile environment. You must have a proven track record in a senior or leadership capacity and a passion for creating outstanding user experiences.

Your skills should include exceptional leadership, a data-driven mindset, and significant experience with agile and lean product development methodologies. You should be a master at juggling diverse workloads, and your excellent judgment will be critical to your success.
