Are you ready to lead and shape treasury operations at a strategic level? Standard Bank is looking for a Senior Manager, Product Control, Treasury to oversee the validation and reporting of profit and loss numbers for our Treasury function. This role requires a deep understanding of balance sheets, risk drivers, and operational processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective problem-solving of variances.

You will play a key role in understanding how cash flows through the bank, how it is controlled, and the impact on the income statement. Your insights will support governance, compliance, and the continuous improvement of financial processes, ensuring the Treasury operates at its highest potential.

Qualifications:

• Postgraduate Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
• CA (SA) certification is essential

Experience Required:

• 3–5 years’ active involvement in Treasury, participating in both internal and external forums to implement best practices
• 3–5 years’ experience in developing and leading high-performing teams, including managing performance and succession planning
• 5–10 years’ experience in financial control frameworks, process development, governance, and risk mitigation, including overseeing external audits
• 5–10 years’ experience with Finance Operations, with strong conceptual knowledge of principles, core products, and business lines
• Ability to solve complex problems, communicate strategically, and influence key stakeholders both internally and externally
