Job Description

The Independent Institute of Education (IIE) Rosebank College, part of the ADvTECH Group (Africa’s leading private education provider), is seeking an accomplished and highly professional Senior Administrator to join its dynamic team. This role provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Executive team.

Job Purpose

The Senior Administrator will ensure the efficient operation of the Executive Office by managing travel, logistics, diaries, meetings, general office administration, and supporting health and safety compliance. The role requires discretion, professionalism, and exceptional organizational skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Executive & Administrative Support: Manage executive diaries and calendars, including scheduling and coordinating meetings. Book conference and meeting room facilities. Handle correspondence, maintain professional records, and support executive-level communication.
  • Travel Coordination: Arrange and confirm all travel bookings through approved travel agencies. Prepare comprehensive travel itineraries, track associated costs, and process expense claims, ensuring strict compliance with travel and expense policies.
  • Health & Safety: Monitor compliance with health and safety standards within the National Office. Coordinate safety audits, training, and necessary documentation.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate Level 4 (NQF Level 4).
  • A Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field (NQF Level 5 or higher) is advantageous.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in administration.
  • 3–5 years of experience in diary and travel management.
  • 2 years of experience in health & safety coordination.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
