Salesworx is looking for a dedicated Sales Representative to join our client, a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor in the industry. Based in Fourways, Johannesburg North, this role is for someone who can drive revenue, build lasting client relationships, and help us expand our footprint across the African continent.

Your Role: Driving Growth and Building Connections

As a Sales Representative, you will be a key driver of our client’s growth. Your main goal is to build strong customer relationships, identify their needs, and provide tailored product solutions from our extensive range of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Sales Lead Management: Proactively manage all incoming leads and ensure prompt, professional responses to customer inquiries.
• CRM & Sales Process: Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, refine sales strategies to improve performance, and manage a minimum of five active projects in your pipeline at all times.
• Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• New Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our market share.
• Order & Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply chain issues.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will be a sales professional with a proven track record of success in a related industry.

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, distribution, or logistics is required, preferably within the pharmaceutical or a related sector. Experience in compound pharmacy is a plus.
• Skills: You should have excellent communication, negotiation, and sales abilities. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel) and be highly organized with strong time management skills.
• Qualifications: A Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent is the minimum requirement. Post-secondary education is advantageous.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary ranging from R20,000 to R33,000 (depending on experience). We also provide a cell phone allowance, fuel allowance, and a medical aid contribution.
