Are you passionate about customer service and have a flair for sales? We’re looking for a Sales Clerk: Parts to provide efficient spare parts sales services to customers while ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This role requires proactive engagement with customers, strong supplier collaboration, and the ability to promote sales through various marketing activities.


Key Responsibilities

🤝 Customer Service Excellence

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through prompt, friendly, and professional service.
  • Accurately identify customer needs and offer suitable parts and solutions.
  • Manage customer requests and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints efficiently, ensuring quick resolution.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers for seamless parts procurement.
  • Assist customers in understanding product warranties, returns, and exchange policies.

💼 Sales and Marketing Activities

  • Support and participate in farmers’ days, trade shows, and product demonstrations.
  • Plan and execute seasonal marketing campaigns aligned with customer needs.
  • Promote specific agent brands through targeted sales and promotional activities.
  • Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely delivery.
  • Recommend suitable spare parts using catalogues and digital tools.
  • Conduct counter sales and provide after-sales support to ensure satisfaction.
  • Use telephonic sales techniques to engage new and existing customers.
  • Identify and report lost sales opportunities to management.

🧾 Housekeeping & Administrative Duties

  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards.
  • Keep sales and storage areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Merchandise products effectively and maintain appealing displays.
  • Pick, pack, and organize stock to support sales and inventory processes.
  • Participate in quarterly stock counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, stock movements, and customer interactions.

What You’ll Need

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in spare parts sales or a related field
  • Strong communication, organizational, and sales skills
