We are looking for a dedicated Risk Compliance Officer to join our team in Centurion. In this role, you will be the guardian of our grain handling sites, ensuring every operation is in full compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This is a crucial position for a candidate who can conduct comprehensive risk audits and recommend practical mitigation strategies to enhance operational safety and efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Risk Compliance Officer, your work will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity and safety of our operations. Your responsibilities will be hands-on and impactful, requiring you to travel frequently to our remote sites.

A day in your life could include:

  • Conducting Audits: You’ll perform scheduled and ad-hoc risk audits at grain storage and handling facilities, evaluating compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational standards.
  • Risk Assessment: You will identify and assess risks related to grain quality, storage conditions, pest control, fire hazards, and equipment safety.
  • Reporting and Collaboration: You’ll prepare detailed audit reports with your findings and actionable recommendations. You’ll then work with site managers and operational teams to implement corrective actions and monitor their progress.
  • Continuous Learning: You will stay updated on relevant legislation, industry best practices, and emerging risks to ensure our compliance is always at the forefront.

Is This You?

We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional who has a deep understanding of risk management and compliance. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing, compliance, or risk management, preferably within the agricultural or grain industry.
  • Education: A Grade 12/NQF Level 4 certificate and a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field. Certifications like SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, or ISO 45001 Auditor Certification are essential.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of OHS regulations, grain storage standards, and environmental compliance. You must also have excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Requirements: A valid driver’s license is a must, as the role requires frequent travel.

If you are a driven individual ready to take on a key role that directly impacts our company’s operational excellence, apply now. The closing date is October 3, 2025. Don’t miss this opportunity to safeguard the supply chain with a leading company.
