Are you a friendly, professional, and service-oriented individual with a passion for hospitality? Piekenierskloof Mountain Resort, a proud member of the Dream Hotels & Resorts group, is looking for a dedicated Receptionist/Front of House to join our team in Citrusdal.

At our resort, we pride ourselves on providing a perfect blend of modern amenities, natural beauty, and warm hospitality. As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring they have an unforgettable experience from the moment they arrive.


What You’ll Be Doing

This role is about more than just checking people in and out. As a Receptionist, you’ll be the face of our resort, responsible for creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Guest Services: Providing a warm welcome, assisting with check-ins and check-outs, and handling guest inquiries and requests with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Reservations: Managing reservation requests and maintaining an organized system for tracking room availability.
  • Communication: Answering phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries while directing them to the correct departments.
  • Administrative Tasks: Performing essential administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and processing payments.
  • Problem Resolution: Effectively and promptly resolving any guest issues or complaints to ensure their satisfaction.

You’ll also have the opportunity to promote our resort’s amenities, encouraging guests to enjoy everything we have to offer.


Are You the Right Fit?

We’re looking for someone with a strong background in customer service and a genuine desire to help people. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Matric certificate.
  • 1-2 years of relevant front-of-house or related experience.
  • 2 years of solid customer service experience.
  • Familiarity with resort reservation systems and basic computer proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills and an organized, detail-oriented approach to your work.
