Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about stock management? We’re looking for a Receiving Clerk to join our Agrifriend team in Hartswater. In this role, you’ll ensure that all incoming stock is accurately received, verified, and recorded — playing a vital role in maintaining smooth warehouse and retail operations.

Your Key Responsibilities

📦 Receiving Stock

• Receive ordered stock from vendors or third-party suppliers.
• Check all deliveries against waybills for quantity and quality accuracy.
• Report any deviations, damages, or breakages according to internal procedures.
• Confirm receipt of stock by stamping and signing delivery notes.
• Match delivered stock with invoices and delivery documentation.
• Capture received stock on the system according to delivery records.
• Distribute stock to the sales department.
• File and organize all relevant stock documents.
• Reconcile courier accounts and update BIN locations regularly.

🧾 Handling Queries

• Obtain authorization numbers for vendor returns.
• Report shortages or discrepancies directly to vendors.
• Address and resolve creditors’ invoice variances efficiently.

🚚 Managing Stock Distribution

• Prepare packages for pickup or delivery.
• Complete waybills and shipping documents accurately.
• Ensure all shipping documents are signed and properly filed.

What You’ll Need

• National Senior Certificate (Matric)
• 2–3 years of retail experience (preferably in a stock control or warehouse environment).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
