Mission of the role:

Epiroc is looking for a Qualified Electronic Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing PCBs, components, and products to ensure they meet our high-quality standards. You will also handle repairs, fault-finding, and collaborate with various departments to resolve technical issues efficiently.

Your Mission

• Upload bootloader and firmware to PCBs.
• Conduct PCB-level testing according to released ATP/ATC’s.
• Perform basic soldering and PCB rework tasks.
• Document and keep records of all test work performed.
• Assemble and install electronic components, products, or systems.
• Assess and evaluate product performance.
• Read and interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electronic systems and components.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic equipment.
• Operate and maintain diagnostic tools such as multi-meters and analysers.
• Liaise with other departments to resolve technical issues.
• Follow all company safety policies, ESD procedures, and quality standards.

Your Profile

• National Diploma or B-Tech Degree in Electronic Engineering.
• IPC certification is highly advantageous.
• Experience in electronic testing or production environments is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in teams.
• Experience with ST-Link is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office is required.
