What You’ll Be Doing

As a Project Accountant at FNB, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, providing critical insights and guidance to our stakeholders. You’ll be a partner in financial decision-making, helping us to stay ahead of the curve.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with stakeholders to provide financial insights for operational and strategic decisions.
• Managing the budget preparation process and monitoring for variances to guide management in taking corrective action.
• Recording, analyzing, and managing costs to support informed decision-making.
• Preparing and reporting on the business’s financial conditions and implementing optimal processes for management reporting.
• Maximizing productivity by planning people and processes efficiently and identifying areas for improvement.
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting documentation according to professional standards.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate with a strong financial background and a passion for continuous improvement.

Minimum requirements:

• Qualification: Qualified CA and/or CIMA (preferred, but not limited to).
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience in the financial field.
• Additional Knowledge: Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
