Are you a highly-organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for project management and a knack for ensuring everything runs smoothly? Hollard Insure is looking for a dedicated Project Administrator to join our Project Athena team in Parktown, Gauteng.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive self-starter who is confident, a team player, and ready to provide essential support to our project leaders. You’ll be the backbone of our projects, ensuring that all administrative and operational tasks are handled with precision and efficiency.
What the Role Involves
As the Project Administrator, your main goal is to provide operational and administrative support to ensure the seamless delivery of projects. This is a crucial role where your strong organizational and communication skills will shine. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Project Records & Governance: You’ll maintain project registers, ensure documentation is compliant with our governance framework, and manage our electronic content platforms.
- Financial Administration: You’ll assist with financial tasks like processing invoices, updating budgets, and tracking resource costs.
- Meetings & Reporting: You will be the go-to person for scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and dashboards, and ensuring minutes and key decisions are accurately documented and distributed.
- Stakeholder & Staff Support: You’ll organize stakeholder meetings, assist with onboarding new team members, and provide general administrative support to the project teams.
This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Are You the Right Fit?
We’re looking for someone who has a solid background in project administration and is ready to take ownership of their responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of experience in a project administration, coordination, or similar support role.
- Experience in financial administration and working within project governance frameworks.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with Microsoft Project and SharePoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
A diploma or degree in Business Administration or Project Management is preferred, but your relevant experience is what matters most.
