About the Role

This role is responsible for defining the programme governance framework for Digital & IT and overseeing the planning, coordination, execution, and implementation of multiple projects. The Programme Manager ensures alignment with business goals, effective stakeholder collaboration, and successful delivery of strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Management

• Define and implement a comprehensive governance framework and methodology for Digital & IT programmes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including Group Digital & IT, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain Management, and vendors.
• Align programme objectives with overall business priorities and strategic goals.
• Develop and manage the programme roadmap, ensuring delivery of business case benefits.
• Monitor performance and delivery through governance processes, risk tracking, and issue resolution.
• Provide dashboards and regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, risks, dependencies, and budgets.
• Oversee communication across teams to ensure alignment and timely updates.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration during all phases—from planning to post-implementation.

Budget Management

• Work with Finance and Project Managers to monitor CAPEX and OPEX utilization.
• Manage project budgets, reporting, and invoicing for all strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare financial reports and present budget performance to stakeholders.

Governance and Risk Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks through proactive management.
• Oversee technology assurance and lifecycle management to ensure compliance with corporate controls.
• Manage audit reviews across markets and ensure timely corrective action on audit findings.

Communication and Reporting

• Maintain open communication with Programme Sponsors, Senior Stakeholders, and delivery teams.
• Track project progress, highlight changes in priorities, and ensure stakeholders are informed.
• Compile and present portfolio reports in line with stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with Project/Programme Management certification (essential).
• Postgraduate qualification (preferred).
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Programme/Project Management.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale digital transformation and business change programmes.
• Strong financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Experience with vendor selection, RFP/RFI processes, and contract management.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
• Self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong diplomacy and decision-making skills.
