What You’ll Do: The Conductor of Production

As a Production Planner, you’ll be the key player orchestrating the entire production process. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing and managing production schedules to guarantee on-time delivery and make the most of resources.
• Coordinating with various teams—including procurement, warehousing, and manufacturing—to ensure production plans align perfectly with material availability.
• Monitoring production performance and making real-time adjustments to address any potential delays or bottlenecks.
• Analyzing capacity and forecasting production requirements to consistently meet customer demand.
• Maintaining accurate data in ERP systems and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.

What You’ll Need to Succeed: A Blend of Education and Experience

To be the right fit for this role, you’ll need a combination of education, experience, and key skills.

• Education: A BEng in Industrial Engineering, a BCom in Supply Chain, or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Experience: You should have 2 or more years of experience in a production planning or supply chain role, with a preference for experience in the FMCG or manufacturing sectors.
• Skills: You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, and possess excellent communication and organizational abilities. The capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is also essential.
