About the Role
Coricraft is seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee operations at its Epping factory. The successful candidate will lead and manage a team, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a hands-on approach in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and control the production team.
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards.
- Train staff on required standards and operational procedures.
- Conduct performance management and address HR/IR responsibilities, including discipline and wage management.
- Liaise with internal departments and external retail partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle staff issues empathetically and professionally.
- Apply relevant sewing and production expertise to guide the team.
Experience & Qualifications
- Matric/Grade 12 required; relevant tertiary education advantageous.
- Diploma in Production is a plus.
- Participative leadership skills with 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong PC skills, including MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Solid understanding of production analysis and workflow.
- Target- and quality-oriented mindset.
- Ability to adapt to change and work under pressure.
- Experience in furniture manufacturing and quality-focused environments.
