What You’ll Build and Lead

As a Principal Specialist, you will be responsible for a wide range of strategic and hands-on responsibilities. Your primary focus will be on driving innovation and project execution from inception to completion.

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the digital transformation roadmap for Finance Operations and Credit & Risk, identifying and evaluating new technologies like Robotics Process Automation and AI.
• Project Management: Lead complex digital transformation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and align with business objectives. You’ll also re-engineer and radically simplify our processes.
• Data-Driven Culture: Champion a data-driven culture by promoting the use of analytics tools and developing dashboards to provide real-time financial visibility.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring their buy-in and satisfaction with digital initiatives. You’ll also facilitate change management to ensure seamless adoption of new strategies.
• Skill Development: Own the “Citizen Development” strategy within VSA Finance, enabling large-scale upskilling in AI and Intelligent Automation.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills. We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in a finance, credit, or risk environment is essential. You must have a proven track record of successfully leading digital transformation initiatives within a large organization.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of emerging technologies like data analytics and artificial intelligence. You should have excellent project management, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Certifications: Certifications in digital transformation (CDTO, DTP) or project management (PMP, PRINCE2) are highly beneficial.
• Skills: You must have the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply, with a keen eye for operational excellence and attention to detail.
