Do you have a passion for helping people and a commitment to accuracy? Are you a skilled Phlebotomist who wants to make a real difference in the community? The Western Cape Blood Service (WCBS) is looking for a dedicated professional to join our team at the Blue Route Mall Blood Donation Centre.

As a non-profit organization, our mission is to provide a safe and reliable blood supply for the Western Cape. In this role, you’ll be a crucial part of that mission. You’ll be responsible for donor screening and phlebotomy procedures, as well as providing excellent customer service as a Donor Attendant.

What you’ll be doing:

• Welcoming and screening donors at the reception area.
• Performing phlebotomy procedures with precision and care.
• Ensuring all data is collected accurately.
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive team.

What you’ll need:

• A Grade 12 Certificate and a Certificate in Phlebotomy Techniques.
• 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience is essential.
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPC).
• A valid Code 08 driver’s license.
• Reliability to work variable shifts, including weekends.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, multilingual disposition.
