About the Role

As a Pharmacist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent pharmaceutical care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dispensary. This is a permanent position for a professional who is committed to accuracy and customer well-being.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing pharmaceutical care services within your scope of practice.
• Performing daily dispensary administration tasks in line with company standards.
• Maintaining accurate stock control, including the repacking of medicine.
• Compounding medications accurately.
• Offering general health advice to customers.
• Upholding high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in pharmacy best practices and a commitment to customer service.

Minimum requirements:

• Qualifications: Matric with Maths is essential. You must meet the minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa for a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic).
• Knowledge & Skills: You should have a good understanding of pharmaceutical products, relevant legal knowledge from the SAPC, and be proficient in basic calculations and IT systems.
• Personal Attributes: We value team players with strong integrity, an ethical work ethic, and excellent attention to detail.
