Job Vacancy: Permanent Part-time Retail Assistant (Centurion)

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Permanent Part-time Retail Assistant. In this role, you will support the store management team with day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless and excellent shopping experience for every customer. Your ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor while upholding all store policies and procedures is key to success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and provide the highest level of service. Assist them in finding the right products, use add-on sales techniques, and share product knowledge to help achieve sales goals.
• Store Operations: Process sales transactions (cash, credit, etc.), assist with product ticketing and inventory checks, and help maintain the flow of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
• Visual Merchandising: Assist in creating and maintaining product displays according to store guidelines.
• System Proficiency: Become proficient with the point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring all transactions and procedures are handled with accuracy and integrity.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain general housekeeping standards and ensure the safekeeping of company assets.

Skills and Experience:

• A genuine passion for retail and a commitment to excellent customer service.
• The ability to use your initiative and work independently.
• Clear, upbeat, and positive communication skills.
• Flexibility to work during weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
• Previous experience in fashion retail is highly regarded but not essential.
