What You’ll Be Doing

• Third-Party Payments: Ensure all third-party payments and GL reconciliations are completed accurately and on time, with no outstanding issues.
• Payroll Processing: Process all payroll payments, including salaries for permanent, casual, and ad hoc staff. You’ll ensure data integrity and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Administration & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records for new employees, leave management, and benefits reporting, ensuring all tasks meet internal and external audit standards.
• Reporting: Compile and submit various reports to management, including those for third-party payments, garnishees, and leave.
• Query Management: Respond to and resolve internal customer queries promptly, keeping a clear record of all communication and feedback.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• A Grade 12 or NQF 4 qualification.
• The ability to communicate effectively in English.
• A minimum of 1 year of previous experience in payroll is an advantage, but full training is provided.
• A valid ID or passport with an applicable work permit.
• Strong competencies in planning, integrity, accuracy, and client focus.
• The ability to work well under pressure and a high level of personal drive.
