What You’ll Be Doing

As a Payroll Accountant, you will be responsible for the integrity of our payroll processes from start to finish. Your work will directly support our employees and contribute to the overall financial health of our organization.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Payroll Processing: You’ll ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time, maintaining records that comply with all legal and audit requirements.
• Reconciliation and Reporting: You’ll regularly reconcile payroll-related accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies to ensure proper classification and allocation of costs.
• Collaboration and Compliance: You’ll work closely with HR and Finance teams to align practices, assist with audits, and stay current on all relevant laws and regulations.
• Process Improvement: You’ll contribute to improving our payroll and accounting workflows, making our processes more efficient and effective.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a meticulous and strategic thinker with a strong grasp of both payroll administration and accounting principles. You are a professional who understands the sensitive and confidential nature of employee financial data.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Education: A Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting is required.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing and payroll reconciliations.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of payroll administration, a good understanding of payroll systems and accounting software, and advanced Excel skills.
• Essential Traits: You must be deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and have an unwavering commitment to confidentiality.
