Servest, a world-class leader in the Integrated Facilities Management industry, is looking for a dynamic and driven Operations Manager to join our team in Cape Town. This role is a key part of our Cleaning Business Unit, and we’re looking for someone who can thrive in an innovative environment and help us continue to attract top talent.


What You’ll Do: A Role Focused on People and Performance

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service delivery and operational efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Service Intelligence (CSI): You will develop and maintain systems to ensure we consistently meet our client service level agreements. This includes conducting site visits, managing the delivery of supplies, and providing accurate, real-time feedback to clients.
  • Financial Management: You will manage area performance against budgets and targets, control expenses, and work to achieve monthly non-contractual revenue goals. You will also be responsible for maintaining and upselling to our existing customer base.
  • Team Leadership: You will manage the entire staff lifecycle, from recruiting and training to evaluating and motivating your team. You will also oversee staff scheduling, time and attendance, and industrial relations.
  • Operational Control: You will manage the start-up process for all new contracts, ensure the availability and condition of site equipment, and maintain full control of company assets.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and experienced professional with a strong track record in the cleaning or a similar industry.

  • Education & Experience: A Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent is required. A Business Management or a related qualification is a plus. You must have 3-5 years of experience as an Operations Manager in the cleaning industry or a similar role.
  • Skills: You must have strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook), excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a talent for problem-solving and report writing.
  • Additional Requirements: A clear criminal record is a must.
