We are looking for a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team in Cape Town. What You’ll Be Doing

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing our production processes. Your work will directly impact our company’s profitability and reputation by ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Planning: You will analyze and plan production schedules to meet sales targets, recommending modifications to processes to ensure we maintain and improve our standards.
• Production Management: You will plan, coordinate, and expedite all production, ensuring a timely and efficient service for our clients. This includes managing mobile mills and controlling the booking and release of all orders.
• Quality Control: You will ensure all products meet the required specifications before being dispatched and promptly and efficiently attend to all quality complaints.
• Team Leadership: You will be responsible for the supervision of all production staff, including managing wages, enforcing the disciplinary code, and ensuring the team is motivated and productive.
• Continuous Improvement: You’ll be involved in both product development and process improvement, constantly looking for ways to enhance our operations and create value.
• Stakeholder Relations: You will partner with all in-house departments to maintain sound relationships and ensure all standard operating procedures are followed.

We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong blend of technical, commercial, and people-management skills. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a medium to large service and manufacturing organization, with experience using SAP.
• Education: A Matric, Technical Qualification, or a Production & Quality Management Qualification is required. A Diploma is an added advantage.
• Skills: You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of initiative. You must have strong leadership skills, with the ability to energize and motivate staff, and a solid understanding of corporate governance, business development, and process improvement.
• Languages: Fluency in English, Afrikaans, and Zulu is required.
