We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Branch Manager to lead our Hemingways Mall branch in East London.

As the OMF Branch Manager, you will lead a small to medium-sized team of financial advisers, focusing on developing and maintaining strong client relationships while driving sales performance and service excellence. Your leadership will ensure that the branch achieves its financial targets, delivers exceptional customer experiences, and operates efficiently.

Leadership & Direction

  • Communicate branch objectives and align them with Old Mutual’s broader mission and strategy.
  • Motivate and guide your team to achieve business goals.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and implement relationship management plans for existing clients.
  • Build and maintain strong connections with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to enhance products and services.

Sales & Business Growth

  • Identify client needs and recommend suitable financial solutions.
  • Present and negotiate customer propositions, leveraging your commercial acumen.
  • Generate new business leads through referrals, networking, and community engagement.

Performance Management

  • Monitor team performance, set goals, and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct appraisals and ensure adherence to performance standards.

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Maintain high-quality service delivery standards.

Customer Focus

  • Promote a customer-first culture and collaborate with colleagues to enhance service quality.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.

Budgeting & Reporting

  • Track branch budgets, report variances, and support cost management initiatives.

  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance their sales, customer service, and operational skills.
