Role Overview
The OMF Branch Manager leads a small to medium-sized team of advisors, managing relationships with prospective and existing clients to drive demand for financial products and services. This role requires strong leadership, operational management, and strategic customer relationship skills.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Direction
- Communicate the local action plan and align it with the broader organizational mission and vision.
- Motivate team members to achieve business goals.
Customer Relationship & Account Management
- Develop and implement relationship management plans for existing accounts.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Gather customer feedback and provide analyses and recommendations to improve service delivery.
Sales & Customer Propositions
- Identify suitable products and services to meet customer needs.
- Present solutions with clear rationale and commercial terms, involving senior colleagues when necessary.
- Identify new sales opportunities through referrals, events, and networking.
Performance & Operations Management
- Monitor team performance, allocate work, and ensure quality and timeliness of output.
- Use performance management systems to improve both individual and team performance.
- Provide operational support and supervision for transactional processes as required.
Promoting Customer Focus
- Collaborate internally to strengthen external customer relationships.
- Act as the first point of contact for customer queries and complaints, escalating complex issues appropriately.
- Communicate product launches and campaigns to potential and existing customers.
Key Account & Budget Management
- Deliver specialized support for high-value accounts in line with policies.
- Track budgets, monitor variances, and report to senior management.
Organizational Capability Building
- Coach and develop team members to enhance skills and performance.
