This role provides vital support across the business, ensuring safety, compliance, and excellence in every aspect of our work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor OHS policies and procedures to ensure full legal compliance.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections across all sites.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (85 of 1993).
- Promote a proactive safety culture and empower teams to take ownership of safety.
- Deliver OHS training, awareness, and induction programs.
- Collaborate with project managers and event coordinators to maintain safe work environments.
- Maintain risk registers and track control measures.
- Capture and report safety data and trends to management and relevant authorities.
- Support compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards.
- Lead emergency preparedness and response planning.
- Oversee PPE usage, fire safety equipment, and first aid readiness.
- Conduct and lead monthly SHE meetings.
- Provide OHS guidance, documentation, and support across departments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or SAMTRAC (preferred).
- At least 7–10 years of OHS management experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Strong background in events, construction, or general workplace safety.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
