Position Summary

The Nursing Practitioner at Clicks Wellington will manage a commercially viable clinic by promoting and delivering professional, value-added health services. This role focuses on providing comprehensive patient care while ensuring the clinic operates efficiently and meets financial and service objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a loyal client base by promoting clinic services and delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Provide a range of clinic services including lifestyle management screening tests, ‘well baby’ clinics, immunisations (adult and baby), reproductive health services, minor ailments and wound care, and Phlebotomy services.
  • Counsel and advise patients on health, weight management, and refer to Pharmacists or other health professionals when needed.
  • Maintain patient information securely and accurately in electronic systems, and ensure all services are billed appropriately.
  • Ensure efficient clinic operations through administration, locum booking, financial reporting, and stock management.
  • Monitor stock, prevent losses, and maintain the cold chain for medical supplies.
  • Build professional health networks to enhance the clinic’s commercial viability and service offerings.
  • Plan and coordinate Health Days and other projects to improve Clicks’ healthcare services.
  • Manage adverse events and emergencies professionally and effectively.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

  • Essential: Minimum 3 years practical experience in nursing disciplines such as Community Health, Primary Health, and Midwifery
  • Desirable: Experience with Unisolv and Allegra systems

Education:

  • Essential: Registered Nursing Practitioner with SANC
  • Essential: 3-year Diploma in Nursing or a 4-year Nursing degree
