Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially savvy New Business Consultant to drive growth and partnerships across retail and fintech channels. This role is perfect for a self-starter with experience selling digital value-added services into both formal and informal retail environments.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify and research potential clients within the target market.
- Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Maintain an updated pipeline using CRM tools.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
- Initiate contact with potential clients via calls, emails, and meetings.
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers.
- Conduct needs assessments to understand client goals and challenges.
Sales Presentations & Demonstrations
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
- Demonstrate the value of FLASH solutions.
- Address client queries and objections effectively.
Negotiation & Closing
- Develop and present pricing and contract terms.
- Negotiate agreements to achieve win-win outcomes.
- Close deals and ensure timely signing of contracts.
Market Research & Analysis
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
- Analyse data to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide market insights to marketing and product teams.
Sales Reporting & Documentation
- Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and results.
- Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports.
- Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems.
Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure seamless service handover.
- Communicate client expectations to internal stakeholders.
- Align sales efforts with marketing campaigns and events.
Goal Setting & Achievement
- Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Continuously evaluate personal performance and seek improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience in sales or business development.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and generating new business.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
- Experience in payments and retail is advantageous.

- Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques.
