About the Role
A leading manufacturer of machinery and equipment is seeking a talented Marketing Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg. This role is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong mix of administrative, creative, and digital marketing skills.
You’ll support the marketing department in executing campaigns, managing social media, and creating visually appealing marketing materials that bring multiple brands to life.
Key Responsibilities
🧠 1. Social Media Content Creation & Scheduling
- Collaborate with the Regional Marketing Manager to plan and manage content calendars.
- Create and source engaging visuals, photos, and videos for posts.
- Write and schedule compelling social media content across all platforms, focusing primarily on Facebook and Instagram.
- Advanced experience with Meta Business Suite is essential.
🎨 2. Graphic Design
- Design marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, newsletters, and product guides.
- Perform photo and video editing, ensuring content aligns with brand identity.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Rush, and Premiere Pro) is required.
🗂️ 3. Marketing Administration
- Support the Regional Marketing Manager in day-to-day marketing operations.
- Handle procurement and branding of promotional materials.
- Manage marketing inventory, databases, and email communications.
- Coordinate interdepartmental marketing activities.
🎪 4. Event Assistance
- Help organize and execute events such as dealer conferences, trade shows, and internal functions.
- Manage logistics, event setup, and on-site coordination.
💬 5. Dealer & Customer Support
- Respond professionally to marketing-related queries from dealers and customers.
- Distribute marketing materials and ensure consistent brand messaging.
🚀 6. Marketing Initiatives
- Contribute to campaign execution and content writing.
- Maintain adherence to corporate identity and brand guidelines across all materials.
📊 7. Market Research & Database Management
- Conduct market research and maintain accurate, up-to-date Excel databases.
🧾 8. General Assistance
- Provide ongoing administrative and creative support to the Regional Marketing Manager and Managing Director.
Requirements
✅ Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing coordination and administration.
✅ Strong background in social media management and graphic design.
✅ Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Rush, Premiere Pro).
✅ Advanced user of Meta Business Suite (Facebook & Instagram).
✅ Diploma or degree in Marketing or a related field.
✅ Skilled in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
✅ Excellent communication, writing, and proofreading abilities.
✅ Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
