The CGA division is responsible for growing the Apple brand in over 15 regions, managing the marketing and expansion of the iStore brand.

Role Overview
The Marketing Account Manager works closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to coordinate all marketing and digital advertising activities for iStore and regional partners. This includes ideation, concept development, creative briefs, media agency coordination, budget management, campaign performance analysis, and reporting. The role demands strong organisational, project management, and analytical skills to manage multiple marketing initiatives across platforms efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan iStore and partner media strategies aligned with marketing plans and business objectives (Google, social media, YouTube, ATL, BTL, TTL, in-store campaigns).
  • Coordinate internal creative and external marketing briefs for paid marketing campaigns.
  • Develop project plans with budgets, target markets, objectives, and timelines.
  • Act as iStore Africa brand custodian, ensuring all marketing communication aligns with brand principles.
  • Proactively plan and update digital marketing collateral as required.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and partners for media, ATL, BTL, TTL, and digital marketing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketing initiatives.
  • Create, manage, and monitor all advertising campaigns.
  • Coordinate weekly customer digital newsletters, including content pricing and marketing support for sales teams.
  • Oversee digital and social media marketing initiatives.

Reporting & Administration

  • Generate monthly advertising effectiveness and post-campaign analysis reports.
  • Manage CRM journeys and document proof of action.
  • Monitor monthly budgets and raise purchase orders via Syspro for supplier engagement.
  • Ensure timely invoice processing and sign-offs for all supplier payments.

Educational Qualifications

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field

Experience Required

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing coordination or agency account management
