We are looking for an experienced Manager in Financial Modelling to join our team in Midrand and help us solve some of our clients’ most complex challenges.

This role is for a leader who can not only build sophisticated financial models but also manage and coach a team, all while working with our clients to deliver strategic insights.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Manager in the Business Modelling team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of engagements across various sectors, from Energy and Infrastructure to Mining and Manufacturing.

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Building Financial Models: You’ll build robust financial models for a variety of purposes, including decision support, capital allocation, valuations, and commercial viability assessments.
• Leading the Team: You’ll be responsible for leading on-the-ground teams, managing deadlines, and coaching junior staff.
• Providing Strategic Insights: You’ll analyze financial and accounting information, helping clients determine future profitability, financial position, and risk.
• Ensuring Quality: You’ll outline and execute a quality assurance plan to ensure we deliver high-quality services to our clients every time.
• Driving Innovation: You’ll create progressive financial models and use tools beyond Excel to capture the future of a business.

Is This You?

We are looking for a highly skilled and commercially-minded individual with strong leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in government-led procurement programs like REIPPP, RMIPPP, and ESIPPP would be a great advantage.
• Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An international professional qualification like a CA, CFA, ACCA, or CPA is also a significant plus.
• Skills: You must have advanced Excel knowledge, a keen commercial sense, and the ability to manage both teams and clients effectively.
• Leadership: We’re looking for someone who can act as a role model, influence clients and teams positively, and develop high-performing people.
