Hire Resolve is seeking a talented Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established plastics manufacturing company in Bellville, Western Cape. This is a chance to play a critical role in a dynamic team, ensuring the plant’s operational success through expert maintenance of its electrical systems and utilities.

What You’ll Do: Keep the Power On

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be the go-to person for all things electrical and maintenance-related. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing electrical maintenance support to minimize operational downtime.
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical reticulation, water supply, compressed air, and air-conditioning systems.
• Conducting proactive inspections to identify and resolve faults before they cause issues.
• Assisting with the installation of new equipment and system modifications.
• Ensuring the availability of maintenance spares by collaborating with stores and supervisors.
• Supporting plant safety and various management systems like ISO9001 and NOSA.
• Mentoring and guiding less experienced maintenance staff.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We’re looking for a skilled professional with a proactive mindset and a commitment to safety and quality.

• Qualifications: You must have a Matric and be a Trade Tested N3 Electrician with a Wireman’s License.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance, plant services, or a utilities environment.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance and distribution is essential. You must be a good problem-solver with a strong ability to work in a team and a desire for continuous improvement.
• Availability: You should be willing to work overtime and weekends when required.
