What You’ll Do

As a Logistics Assistant, you will be an integral part of a fast-paced team, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and information across the supply chain. Your administrative and communication skills will be critical to coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Shipment Coordination: Coordinate and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery. You’ll be the main point of contact, communicating with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to arrange deliveries and resolve issues.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Prepare essential shipping documents, such as invoices and customs paperwork, and ensure all activities comply with import/export regulations and company policies.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, stock management, and maintaining accurate warehouse documentation.
  • Data Management: Monitor and update logistics databases and systems with precise shipping and receiving records, while also identifying and reporting any delays or discrepancies.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a proactive and multilingual professional with a strong background in logistics and a willingness to embrace a new cultural environment.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of proven experience as a Logistics Assistant.
  • Education: A Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Languages: Fluency in English and Hindi is required.
  • Logistics: You must have a valid South African Passport and excellent employment references.
